The open-plan living and kitchen area is designed with both form and function in mind, featuring stylish cabinetry that provides plenty of extra storage space. The two-burner cook-top and continuous gas hot-water system are perfect for preparing meals and enjoying all the comforts of home, while the reverse cycle air conditioning ensures the cabin stays cool and comfortable even on the hottest of days — and warm and cosy throughout the cooler seasons.

The Serenity is fully insulated with a strong 200mm UB steel base and R2-rated 50mm EPS structural wall and ceiling panels, making it suitable for all Australian climates. Built to last with Colorbond cladding, roofing and flashings, and finished with premium vinyl flooring and aluminium sliding windows and doors with fly screens and blockout roller blinds.

Shipping & Delivery

Cargo Co delivers shipping containers Australia-wide, with fast dispatch from our nearest depot to your site. We offer two professional delivery methods and can help you choose the right one for your access and ground conditions.

Tilt-Bed Truck Delivery (Recommended)

Our tilt-bed (roll-off) trucks place your container gently onto the ground without the need for a crane or forklift. This is the most cost-effective option for residential, commercial and rural sites with reasonable straight-line access.

Site access requirements for tilt-bed delivery:

Minimum 20 m (≈65 ft) of straight clearance for the truck to reverse and tilt
3.6 m (≈12 ft) of width clearance
4.9 m (≈16 ft) of vertical clearance — watch for tree branches, power lines and awnings
Firm, level ground capable of supporting the container and truck weight

Flatbed Truck Delivery

If your site has limited access, sloped ground or you need the container placed in a tight spot, we can dispatch the container on a flatbed truck. You will need to arrange a crane or forklift on site to unload.

Site access requirements for flatbed delivery:

Minimum 20 m (≈65 ft) of straight clearance
3.6 m (≈12 ft) of width clearance
4.3 m (≈14 ft) of vertical clearance
Side access required for the lifting equipment
Forklift must be rated to at least 4,500 kg (≈10,000 lbs) for a 20ft container

Site Preparation Checklist

To ensure a smooth delivery, please confirm the following before your scheduled drop-off:

Clear, unobstructed access for a semi-trailer
No overhead obstacles — trees, power lines, eaves or signage
Firm, level ground — gravel, compacted earth, concrete or pavers all work well
Let us know in advance if conditions are wet, soft or muddy so we can plan accordingly

Delivery Timeframes

Order delivery is typically completed within 10–30 days from the date your order is confirmed, depending on your location and depot stock availability. Remote and regional deliveries may sit at the longer end of this window — our team will confirm an exact ETA when your order is booked in.

Our prefab portable homes and cabins are manufactured in Australia and delivered Australia-wide. Cargo Co coordinates professional transport directly to your site, working with specialist heavy freight carriers experienced in oversized load delivery.

Delivery Method

Your home is transported fully assembled on a heavy-duty flat-bed truck by transporters specialising in portable building delivery. The home is placed on your prepared site using a crane or hiab crane truck, depending on your site access and conditions.

Delivery Lead Times

In-stock/standard builds: Approximately 20–30 days from confirmed order and deposit
Custom/modular designs: Up to 8 weeks depending on design complexity and materials

Site Preparation

Before delivery, you will need to ensure your site is prepared with appropriate footings or a concrete slab. Please also confirm that site access is suitable for a flat-bed semi-trailer and crane truck — minimum 4 m width and 5 m height clearance is recommended.
